 Red roses, pink tulips, bright sunflowers. You loved the variety of flowers in your corner flower shop. You didn't mean to be rude but the recent funerals brought plenty of customers to your little no-named store. However, your coworker Aerith was not in today, leaving you to deal with the mob. "Here are your black roses sir!" "Please wait for your carnations ma'am!" "Stop playing with the cactus you dumb kids!" The day seemed to drag on with sniffling women and impatient men, requesting and demanding flowers for their lost loved ones. By evening, the crowds had died down.      "T-These are for you!" A bouquet of white carnations was thrusted into your face. "I hope you like them..." a timid voice spoke behind them. You took the carnations, peeking through them to see your deliverer. "Hanatarou?" you asked the slightly blushing dark-haired boy infront of you. He nodded slowly and stood awkwardly. You smiled at him and looked back down at the carnations. "Um... Hana-kun?" he looked back up at you. "An odd number of carnations is a death threat." Hanatarou's face turned pale. Thunder roared, shaking the earth. Lightning flashed blindingly bright. It reminded him all to well of that night. 'Three years...' He walked down the path. 'Three years since that night.'
